What Umpiring can do for you
Umpiring is a great way to be and stay involved in the sport of softball in the area.
Whether it be fastpitch or slo-pitch there are different levels of ball that you can umpire. Covid restrictions are slowly being lifted. So ball is slowly coming back.our Mission
The KDSUA aims to provide trained professional umpires for our various leagues in the area.
Fastpitch
Our fastpitch umpires fall under Softball Canada and are trained at all levels, including minor and adult fastpitch.
Slopitch
Slo-pitch National (SPN) trained umpires are very active in the area involved in ladies, mens, and coed leagues.
Participate
Both active and non-participating individuals who love softball are welcome to join our Association.
About Us
The KDSUA is a non-profit organisation whose area of operation in the Central Okanagan is as far north as Oyama and as far south as Peachland.
Our umpires are either Softball Canada trained (fastpitch) or Slo-Pitch National (SPN) trained, or both.
